PUPDATE on Randy!

Randy's family dropped us a note recently to let us know that he loves rolling in the grass and relaxing with his favorite kitty!  They tell us that he is smart, loving and well behaved - and best of all ... LOVED! We would like to thank the volunteers, supporters and friends of SWB for your support rescuing these wonderful GSDs out of the shelter, like Randy, some facing imminent euthanasia, and giving them a chance to be loved by a family - their eyes say it all <3 We love you buddy  ...

PUPDATE on Athena

One of our favorite things to share is alumni updates - who remembers Athena?  Happy FOREVER Athena <3 Athena is doing awesome. We completed doggie school. Of course she already knew her stuff and may have made other dogs look bad. I was so proud of her. I did well too... Athena needs daily runs but no longer needs her day kennel. Vivian – Pupdate <3

MISS VIVIAN you look MAV-O-LUS!!! A few short weeks ago, a small white GSD walked off the Rescue Express and into the hearts of many, including her foster family.  Soon, what was thought to be only a temporary foster home turned into her happily ever after! Pupdate on McCoy!

****PUPDATE**** McCoy was adopted in February 2017. He was pulled from a shelter in Oregon, severely underweight. His adoptive family shares their family story: He came to us at roughly 58 lbs, every bone in his body visible, and so fragile. Now he is 30 lbs heavier with strong muscles to prove it. He has excelled so much in his training and is developing into an amazing and smart member of our family. It has been an endless adventure with him and we have learned so many things. Pupdate on Annora Grace

Just short of 6 months ago, this sweet shy girl walked out of a local shelter and would barely acknowledge her rescuers. After a quick vet visit and spa treatment, a very special foster family drove several hours to get her and became SWB's first official foster failures!!!! Pupdate on Athena

Alumni Athena dropped by this morning to show us her favorite tire and deliver a message from her adoptive family: "Athena is doing great. We are halfway thru our obedience classes. I believe she is the star pupil ?. Doing great with her favorite furry cat friend, goes to doggie daycare once a week, and thriving on her raw diet. So happy we found her.
