Asher

Asher, 1 of 6 puppies Shepherds Without Borders rescue tried to save, lost his battle with the Parvovirus and Coccidia – He fought so hard and actually got released from the hospital on 06/10, but was rushed back to the hospital on 06/20 due to lethargy and passed away in the vet’s hands with his foster mom present. You were loved by so many lil one – we are so sorry we could not undo what your body had suffered through <3

A HUGE Thank you to the staff and doctors at VCA Mueller Veterinary Hospital and to Asher’s foster family <3 PLEASE VACCINATE YOUR PETS TO STOP THE SPREAD OF THESE LETHAL AND PREVENTABLE VIRUSES.

Asher’s final bill for treatment totaled $3074.50 and his cremation was $118.00 🙁

PLEASE NOTE: THESE PUPPIES ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION – THEY ARE CURRENTLY IN THE HOSPITAL UNDER 24/7 CARE IN AN ISOLATION WARD.

We received a plea to help a puppy that was possibly parvo positive and, just a few hours later, that turned into SIX sweet babies who needed rescue help – thanks to some very special rescue warriors ladies and a foster momma extraordinaire and our new friends at VCA Mueller Pet Medical Center, these precious lil souls were tucked into the hospital quickly and are receiving much needed medical intervention.

Four tested positive for parvo yesterday, all a bit under the weather, but we are not giving up on them!!! Just approximately 7 weeks old, they are all fighting for their lives (one puppy already succumbed to the virus previous to us getting them).

We TRULY APPRECIATE EVERY DOLLAR DONATED FOR THESE PUPS <3 https://shepherdswithoutborders.org/donate/
